Recipe for Paneer Butter Masala
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt, to taste
- 250 grams paneer, cubed
- 2 tablespoons cream
- Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions:
- Heat the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chillies, and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the ground coriander, cumin and garam masala, and mix to combine.
- Add the tomato puree and red chilli powder and bring to a simmer.
- Add salt to taste and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
- Add the cream and stir to combine.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
