Recipe for Matar Paneer

Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons of canola oil
  • 2 cups of diced onions
  • 2 teaspoons of grated fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons of ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric
  • 2 cups of frozen peas
  • 2 cups of cubed paneer
  • 1 cup of canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions:
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  1. Add the onions and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  1. Add the ginger, coriander, cumin, garam masala, and turmeric. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  1. Add the frozen peas and paneer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  1. Add the tomatoes, salt, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  1. Add the cilantro and stir to combine.
  1. Serve hot. Enjoy!
