Recipe for Matar Paneer
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of canola oil
 
- 2 cups of diced onions
 
- 2 teaspoons of grated fresh ginger
 
- 2 teaspoons of ground coriander
 
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
 
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
 
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric
 
- 2 cups of frozen peas
 
- 2 cups of cubed paneer
 
- 1 cup of canned tomatoes
 
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
 
- 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
 
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
 
Instructions:
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
 
- Add the onions and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 
- Add the ginger, coriander, cumin, garam masala, and turmeric. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
 
- Add the frozen peas and paneer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 
- Add the tomatoes, salt, and cayenne pepper. Cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
 
- Add the cilantro and stir to combine.
 
- Serve hot. Enjoy!
